I am an artist who likes to work with ideas and in a variety of mediums.. Although actively creative I never had the confidence to consider myself as an "Artist" until a period of change in my life in my late 20s and began a course in Graphic Design this followed by other courses and more formal Art qualifications . I now have a BA in Fine Art.

The Garden

I like working with old family photographs, which are part of my inheritance . When I use the term inheritance I mean it to include working with the physic or emotional material that has been passed down to generations. What that might be is purely subjective but to me it feels like good way to link up and connect with a past that has shaped my identity.

Hello Brian. A wide selection of approaches to image making each with it's own power. I particularly liked the use of family photos in your piece(s).
I too am influenced by Laing and Transpersonal psychology,as well as non-duality and advaita. I also like Can.
I also enjoyed the workshops you delivered at The Public in West Bromwich recently and wish you every success with your Within Without You exhibition at the Bath Fringe 2012.
