This sculpture is a depection of a horse's head pocking over stable doors. JS created this by carving into thermolite blocks and decorating the stone with pebbles to create eyes and formed a fur like texture on the horse using PVA and thermolite dust. the artist used an MDF board to represent the dark empty stable where the horse lives.

This images is for the artist's friend. His friend's dad dead recently and so he created a portrait to comemorate his passing.
