Outside In Development Officer

The successful candidate will assist directly in the success of Outside In by achieving agreed objectives and income targets with a friendly and professional approach.

Outside In is recruiting for a Development Officer to work closely with the Director and Chair of Outside In to contribute to the financial sustainability of the organisation. You will be joining a small, friendly and dedicated team initially on a two day a week basis, with a possibility of extending pending review.

Salary:             £23,000,
Hours:              2 days a week, subject to review

Outside In Operations Manager

Outside In is looking for an dynamic, driven and versatile Operations Manager

Outside In is an award winning charity working to provide a platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world.  

The Operations Manager works closely with the Director to oversee logistics, operations and contribute to the financial sustainability of the organisation.

Salary:             £28,000-30,000, 
Hours:              5 days/week (37.5 hours)
Contract:         Permanent
Location:         Chichester

Vawdrey Archive research project

Call out for artists to help inform, research and create.

Applications are now open for Outside In artists to be involved with an unique research project which will result in the cataloguing, preserving, and digitisation of the The Vawdrey Archive.

There are a maximum of ten spaces available for the project which will aim to help archivists shape the recording of the artwork thanks to the artists’ lived mental health experience. 

The deadline is Monday 15 October at 10am, interviews will take place on Monday 29 October and Friday 2 November.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way for artists to get more involved in the charity. There is a role for everyone and we aim to tailor volunteering to your interests and availability. 

Ambassadors - Ambassadors are spokespeople for Outside In who represent the organisation at public events.

Artist Advisory Group - Our new committee of artists meet quarterly to discuss Outside In's developments. The group members represent the wider Outside In community. Their voice informs and directs the work of Outside In.

Blog writers - Anyone can contribute to our blog with stories, articles, reviews and much more. Ideal for volunteers who would prefer to work remotely or from home.

Office or event support - Help the team with administrative tasks in the Outside In office or lend a hand at Outside In events.
