My picture shows a mother and baby, standing at the end of the earth. She is holding her child close to her and is looking towards another planet. The mother has gone there, simply to get warmth and light for the baby and herself. -

This photograph was taken at sunset on a bittlerly cold, winters day. The colours are purely natural and reflect the onset of a freezing evening and night. -
"Church on a Hill, Pyrford, Surrey"
10" x 8" B&W Print from Infra Red Film.
This was an ideal subject to experiment with infra red film. I found the set up and camera settings quite technical and it was quite difficult to know, completely in advance, how the picture would turn out. So a lot of experimenting and bracketing of exposures. I think the outcome is beautiful and has a certain 'mood' about it. -
"Honduran Street Children"

This photograph was taken on a business trip some while ago. I was profoundly moved by the poverty that these children clearly experienced.
