I am a U.K based, self taught Artist. I use my work as a form of therapy and self expression. When not producing art, I also work as a Peer Support Specialist and engage in Buddhist culture and peace activities. Primarily, my work is about expressing and processing trauma and it's after effects. I guess it's me dancing with my inner dynamics so that I can find a rhythm that is both constructive and wonderful. My work is heavily influenced by my practise of Nichiren Buddhism and chanting 'Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo', especially the concept of 'Nothing is wasted'. This has become manifest by my choosing to work primarily with scrap fabrics. By choosing to do this, I am forced to look creatively and perceive potential in what may seem to be useless and beyond repair. This is in direct correlation with how I strive to perceive my life and my experiences. As with life, it is sometimes a painstaking and frustrating process, but ultimately I feel joy and satisfaction with the result.

Amazing work! Really cuts through to the truth, no holds bared! I really love 'a belly full of stars'. Its inspiring! Who wants to be a black hole when they can have a belly full of stars! Not me! I also love the slapping hand, and spot the dog, amazing 3d pieces, I remember seeing these at one of your exhibitions and they are stunning. I have loved looking at these in more detail here and realising there is a heart in the middle of the hand (hmmm I wonder if this means anything!) Also Im loving the little legs coming from the thumb. The gold stitching is gorgeous, was the hand modelled from your hand?!!

Anthony, hello, are you kidding??? I would be honored to do some collaborating w you. I am doing another series with my pal Steve Davis beginning our 2 year of collaborating. We did over 100 paintings last year and they were exhibited in Phx az where many of them sold. We are still collabin by mail, in fact I will be getting his shipment this Monday. We usually start anywhere from 15-25 canvases 8x10 -16x25 and then we each "add" our finishing touches. I think it would be a great expirience and an exciting fun time working with you too. I believe the artwork created would be absolutely fantastic. Don't hesitate to contact me anytime your ready and we can work out all the details and get something happening. All the best , Despo

It starts easily but after some time obstacle and all sorts of bad thanks (who am I to make this, it´s no use, I can never make it etc ect....)

Then I´ have to just go on, for something tells me that there is a way out.

I often work with 5--- 6, switching from one till anothing.

At the end I can choose the best ones

I don´t know it is the bost way of doing but it succeds for me.

Now I succeed to go on.

I will send some more of embroidery.

Nice to se a man who embroider, not so many today, but during 1500-1600 f Kr they were lots of then
