A Year of Drawing: how will you make your mark?

Public drawing events from arts and mental health project

A new year long drawing project (A Year of Drawing), organised by Make Your Mark, the arts and mental health programme for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, will increase access to the arts for people facing mental health challenges and their carers through participatory drawing events across Sussex and Hampshire.

What can you use to make a mark? What will happen once you begin? Are you curious about where drawing can take you? Join Make Your Mark and start your drawing journey. Facilitated by a professional artist and a peer arts worker with lived experience of mental health challenges, these drop in workshops are open to everyone (all ages, skills and experience), and will encourage you to consider the possibilities of drawing. Stop by for ten minutes or stay for the whole day and experience the energy that is created when people get together to make their mark. The public drawing events are taking place as part of The Big Draw 2017, the world's biggest drawing festival.

Upcoming public drawing events include:

Sunday 8th October 2017, 10am - 4pm - The Hawth, Crawley

Saturday 14th October 2017, 12pm - 4pm - De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill
