About this Artist

Peter Cutts is one of the six award winners from Outside In 2007. Peter Cutts is a Brighton based artists whose work shows a wonderful use of line, a great sense of fun and creativity as well as a love for colour. He is currently an artist with the Rockets Artist Group based in Brighton and has had several group shows of his work. Peter’s work in several private collections My name is Peter Cutts. I started doing art when I was young. I enjoy screen-printing, drawing and painting. I am part of the Rocket artists at the Phoenix, I have had work displayed during the May Festival at Grace Eyre which I go to and had a solo exhibition at Pallant House, Chichester. I have been in other exhibitions and entered competitions. I enjoy doing art as it makes me happy. I like working on birds and houses. I would like to do more art. I see the pictures in my head In colour I watch my ideas A picture occupies my mind then I draw it on a piece of paper then show you so you can see if its nice and make other people happy. Art makes people cheerful.

I like that picture of the two penguins because because i like the colours in it. The two penguins are standing on the trolley because there aren't any seats there. They are going right down the road.
