The distortion in these paintings is very unusual. Each composition is very well made.

I agree with Julies comments but they also speak to me of a fractured minds, of people who do not know themselves and feel they do not fit in with the world around them, of people who need healing

I really like these, they are both a bit creepy and very clever. They remind me of the work of the Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara. They make me think of the idea of people having 'two faces', maybe the outside face they show others and their true personality on the inside that they keep hidden. Also often we do not see people clearly, and don't bother to look close enough to see who they really are. This 'double vision' makes us think twice before we judge people.
